The association representative, Richard Cobbold, met with the QCH director for planning and plant services to discuss the dumping and blowing of snow over the east berm. The QCH has taken steps with their contractor to ensure that no snow is blown or dumped east of the berm. They will monitor the health of trees in the affected area and carry out a spring cleanup.
We should note that future expansion programs at the hospital will be relocating excavated soils along the east berm adjacent to the snow dump area to enhance the visual landscape.
