The overall development encompasses the entire block of land between Baseline Road and Draper Avenue and is separated into three phases. Phase 1 is for a four-storey apartment building at the south-east corner of the site, which have now been completed and occupied. Phase 2 is for another four-storey apartment building at the south-west corner of the site. This application is for Phase 3 of the project, which is the northerly half of the site abutting Draper Avenue. Phase 1 and 2 are commonly known as Qualicum Woods Crossing and Phase 3 will be known as Timberwood.
The property is currently occupied by existing townhome units, which will be demolished and replaced with the proposed 73 freehold townhome units. The site will be serviced through three private streets and there will be three full-movement accesses, one off of Morrison Drive and two from Draper Avenue. Each individual townhome will have a driveway leading to an enclosed garage parking. 9 units will have double-car garages, with the rest being single-car garages. At the centre of the Phase 3 development there will be a private park for the residents.
