Come join us for QGP ‘Carnival in the Park’ Community Day!
We will have music, clothing swap, fire trucks, jousting, a dunk tank, bouncy castle, mechanical horse ride, carnival games, magician, balloon twister, water balloon dodgeball, washer toss, face painting, popcorn and cotton candy, and so much more!!!
Clothing Swap
Are you tired of the flannel that looked great three years ago, and ready to pass on that flower dress that you wore when you were 18? Or do you simply need to free up some space in your closet for something more interesting? Please bring those (clean, in good shape) clothes to swap them for something else in the Swap Corner on this Community Day… Or, you may wish to simply donate them. You can bring as much as you like, and you can take as much as you like (as long as you do not sell them)… Our aim is to give people in the community an opportunity to get rid of good clothes, which they do no longer need, and to ensure that it goes to someone who will actually enjoy them again! What is left at the end of the day will be donated to local charities.

2 to 5pm Bouncy Castle, Jousting, Dunk Tank, Face Painting, Carnival Games, Mechanical Horse Ride, Washer Toss, Clothing Swap, Popcorn and Cotton Candy (Nanaimo Park)
2 to 3pm Fire Truck (Front of Community Centre)
3 to 3:45pm Magician – Diego Lopez (Community Centre)
2:30 to 4:30pm Twistee the Balloon Twister (Nanaimo Park)
4:30 to 4:45pm Water Balloon Dodgeball (Nanaimo Park – New Basketball Court)
Please bring water and dress for the weather! Some snack food and drink items will be available for purchase.
Your Community Needs You!
Volunteers are still needed for the event and is a great way for teens to collect some volunteer hours. Please contact president@qualicum.org if you’re interested in helping out.
